Provident Fund (PF) Withdrawal and Transfer: A Simple Services Guide
 Introduction
Do you need to withdraw your PF amount or transfer it to your new company? Dealing with Provident Fund (EPF) processes can seem complicated. However, with the right guidance, you can complete your PF withdrawal and transfer easily online. This guide simplifies the essential steps for managing your EPF account.

1. When Can You Withdraw Your PF?
You can withdraw the full amount of your PF only in specific situations:

Retirement: After reaching 55 years of age.

Unemployment:

Partial Withdrawal: You can withdraw 75% after one month of unemployment.

Full Withdrawal: You can withdraw the remaining 25% after two months of unemployment (if you are still unemployed).

Special Circumstances: You can make partial withdrawals for medical emergencies, buying/constructing a house, or children's marriage/education.

2. Simple Online PF Withdrawal Process
Before applying, ensure your UAN (Universal Account Number) is active and your KYC (Aadhaar, PAN, Bank Account) is complete on the EPFO portal.

Step 1: Log In: Go to the EPFO Unified Member Portal and log in with your UAN and password.

Step 2: Check Status: Under the 'Manage' tab, verify your 'KYC'. Make sure your bank account is approved.

Step 3: Start Claim: Click on 'Online Services' and select 'Claim (Form-31, 19 & 10C)'.

Step 4: Verify Bank: Enter your full bank account number (linked to your PF) and click 'Verify'.

Step 5: Choose Form: Click 'Proceed For Online Claim' and select the form you need: Form 19 (Full PF Withdrawal) or Form 31 (Partial Withdrawal).

Step 6: Submit OTP: Fill in the required details and submit the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

Your withdrawal claim is now submitted!

3. How to Easily Transfer Your PF
If you change jobs, it is always recommended to transfer your PF balance to your new account.

Step 1: Log In: Log in to the UAN portal.

Step 2: Start Request: Go to 'Online Services' and select 'One Member - One EPF Account (Transfer Request)'.

Step 3: Fill Details: Enter the details of your previous PF account and choose to get the request attested (approved) by your Present Employer (current company) for faster processing.

Step 4: Submit OTP: Enter the OTP.

Your current employer will approve the request, and your old PF will be transferred to your new account.
